SHIPPING
Q – Do you Ship Internationally?
A – Yes, we ship to many countries world wide including the US and the Commonwealth. If your country can be selected in the country/currency dropdown menu - we ship to you. If your country is not available, please reach out to us and let us know and we might be able to add it to our list.
Q – Is Shipping Really Free?
A – Yes, we offer free shipping on our entire offering, even internationally. See the answer below on duties/taxes or read our shipping policy for more info.
Q – Is Customs Duty & Sales Tax Included?
A – To not incur customs duty, we aim to fulfil prints locally in your region and we ship from the United States, the United Kingdom, EU, Canada and Australia (see our Shipping Policy for a full list of countries and details). Original art is always shipped from Sweden. If an order is not fulfilled locally, your country’s customs might require that you pay import duties or other taxes as these are not included. Original art is often excluded from duty and incur reduced sales tax, but this depends on where you are based.
PURCHASES & PAYMENTS
Q – Is it Secure to Shop on the Site?
A – Yes, our shop is powered by Shopify which is one of the largest shopping platforms in the world and it relies on their secure checkout options and technology, so you can feel assured that your information is protected at all times.
Q – How do I Make a Purchase?
A – Add the artwork you want to buy to your cart and check that you have ordered the correct amount and size. You will not be charged anything until you have filled in your details and reviewed your order.
Q – What Payment Methods do you Accept?
A – We accept a variety of payment options, including standard card payments, and they are all clearly displayed at the checkout stage as well as in the footer.
Q – Will I Receive a Confirmation?
A – Yes, a confirmation email will be sent to you. If you do not receive a confirmation, first check your ‘spam’ folder and then reach out to us at luxrosata+support@gmail.com and we will investigate and come back to you to let you know if your order has come through or needs any correction, such as if your email suffered any spelling mishaps. Please avoid placing an additional order until we have come back to you to avoid duplicates.
MY ORDER
Q – Can I Make Changes or Cancel my Order?
A – No, we can generally not make changes or accept cancellation, but if you reach out to us immediately, we will do our best to investigate if any exceptions can be made depending on the processing stage of the order.
Q – What Shall I do if I Have not Received my Order?
A – First check your tracking number and if you have not received a shipment email, check your spam folder. If this does not provide you with clarity, reach out to us and we will investigate and come back to you with information on the status of your delivery.
WORKS OF ART
Q – Will the Print Look as Displayed on My Screen?
A – Images are always slightly different on a computer screen to how they look in real life. We use high quality images for print and are very happy with the results. Note that metallic colours will be printed with a close matching substitute.
Q – Shall I Opt for a Canvas or a Fine Art Print?
A - Fine art prints generally provide a higher quality reproduction as the giclée printing technology produce more vivid colours and they have the advantage that they are easy to frame so you can add your own touch too the artwork. Canvas prints mimic the look and feel of the original painting overall, as it is gallery wrapped and mounted on wooden stretchers, ready to hang without the need for a frame. Hopefully this gives you some guidance.
Q – Do You Sell Framed Art?
A – No, we want to allow you to put your own touch to the selection of a frame and keep transportation costs down. However, the original art as well as the canvas prints are mounted on wooden stretchers and can be hung and look good on the wall without the need for framing. The canvas prints has mirrored edges making the side look attractive on its own. The fine art prints do require framing but our standard sizes usually make it easy to find a good fit.
Q – Can I Buy Tunney Paintings Elsewhere?
A – This is currently the only place where you can purchase James Tunney’s works of art.
Q – The Painting I Like is Not in the Shop?
A – If you have set your eye on a particular Tunney painting which is not displayed in the shop – reach out to us with your request and we will look into whether it might be made available.
Q – Why can I not See any Original Art in the Shop?
A – If your country/currency is set to an EU country (except for Sweden) you are not able to see the original art on display at the moment. We have opted not to ship original art within the single market, however this might change in the future.
Q – Can I Purchase a Digital Print File?
A – No, we only provide physical prints or originals.
Q – Can I Commission a Work of Art?
A – Unfortunately we do not paint to requirements.
